Description
Monolithic LED bar display handler detects analog voltage levels and drives 10 LEDs, providing linear analog display. A single pin changes the display of a point that moves to a bar graph. Current unit to the LEDs is regulated and programmable, eliminating the need for resistors. This feature is one that allows the whole system to work from less than 3V. The circuit contains its own adjustable and precise 10-step voltage divider. The input buffer under current bias accepts signals to go down to ground or V-, however, it does not need protection against the input of 35V above or below the ground. The cap drives 10 individual comparators referenced to the precision divider. Indication of non-linearity This mode is normally done at 1/2%, even through a wide range of temperatures.
