75176 RS485 Two-Way Bus Tranceptor

The SN75176BP differential bus transceiver is an integrated circuit designed for bidirectional data communication on multi-point bus transmission lines. They are designed for balanced transmission lines and meets ANSI TIA/EIA-422-B and TIA/EIA-485-A standards and with ITU V.11 and X.27 recommendations. This device combines a tri-state differential line controller and a differential input line receiver, both with operation via a simple 5V power supply. 

The controller and receiver have active at low and active at low, respectively, which can be externally combined to function as an address control. Controller differential outputs and receiver differential inputs are internally connected to form differential input/output bus ports that are designed to provide minimal load to the bus when the controller is disabled or VCC = 0
