Magnetic switch (for door) MC-38

This type of contact is for (N/C) normally closed circuits which means that when the magnets are aligned, the switch is closed. This type of configuration is ideal for controlling doors, windows and sliding doors. The contacts are joined with metal or wooden screws (not included) for the door or window frame.

The switch is water resistant mounted on a high impact plastic box. They handle up to 100 mA 100 volts of DC and are rated for 50 million openings and closings. It can work reliably in temperatures between -15°F and 160°F.

Mount the magnet on the door or window so that the two are in contact with each other when the door or window is closed. Slotted mounting holes make it easy to adjust the distance between the magnet and the sensor.
