YL83 Rain Sensor

Description
The Rain Module/Sensor consists of a series of conductive tracks printed on a Bakelite plate. The gap between the tracks is very small. What this module does is create a short circuit every time the tracks get wet. The water causes a low resistance path between the positive polarity tracks and the tracks connected to the GND.
It integrates the LM393 op amp that allows to measure the water level present in the sensor in an analog way. from 0 indicating that the sensor is full of water, to 1023 when the sensor is dry. It has a potentiometer to adjust the sensitivity.
We can also read the value digitally, so if there is rain we will obtain a high level (5V). If the sensor is dry, we will get a low level (0V).
Main features:
- DC power voltage: 3.3V - 5V
- Output: Digital and Analog
- Sensor size: 5cm x 4cm
- Use the integrated LM393
