TMP102 I2C Digital Temperature Sensor
Description
The TMP102 communicates with the I2C protocol. The sensor has a precision of 0.5°C, a resolution of 12 bits, and is compatible with other microcontrollers. The recommended power range for the TMP102 is from 1.4V to 3.6V. In addition, it has a measuring range of -25°C to 85°C. The card integrates a TMP102 temperature sensor developed by Texas Instruments which uses the I2C interface to communicate the temperature reading with a resolution of 0.065°C and a precision of 0.5°C to an external microcontroller. The board integrates two Pull Up 4.7kOhm resistors and an Open Drain-based communication eliminates the use of level shifting.
Main features:
- I2C interface
- Resolution from 0.0625°C to 12-bit
- Typical temperature accuracy ±0.5°C
- 3.3VDC sensor working voltage.
- Supports up to 4 TMP 102 sensors on the same bus at the same time.
