Description
74LS154 Demultiplexer and decoder from 4 to 16 lines, each of these 4-line to 16-line decoders uses TTL circuits to decode four binary encoded inputs into one of six mutually exclusive outputs when both the stroboscope G1 and G2 inputs are low. The demultiplexing function is performed using the 4 input lines to direct the output, passing the information through one of the strobe inputs with another low strobe output. When any of the strobe inputs are high, all outputs will be high. These demultiplexers are ideally suitable for implementing high performance memory decoding. All inputs are protected and the input clamping diodes are provided to minimize transmission line effects and therefore simplify system design.
Decode 4 binary encoded inputs into one of 16
Performs demultiplexing function by distributing data from an input line to any of 16 outputs
Input clamping diodes simplify the design of the fan output system, low impedance and totem poles
