Description
When you want to measure an analog signal from a digital system like microcontrollers, digital analog converters (ADC) are used. This module's ADS1115 chip has a 16-bit resolution Sigma delta converter, it can read 4 individual or 2 differential signals, a programmable comparator with direct output to the ALRT pin, and programmable gain that allows you to read up to 256mV in scale complete; making this a very versatile device.
Digital data is read via I2C bus and can reach up to 860 samples per second, there are libraries for quick use in Arduino. Default I2C address: 0x48.
