Description
TF 216°C - 10A - 250V Thermal Fuse Designed to protect appliances, electrical electrical and industrial equipment from fire. A short occurs and the electrical circuit opens when the ambient temperature increases to an abnormal level.
Thermal fuses (Thermal Fuse) are simple devices that contain a wire made of a metal that melts at high temperature. When a short circuit occurs, the current rises through them and thus generates more heat, which melts the cable into the fuse and thus interrupts the circuit. This process destroys it, but protects other more valuable components in the circuit that could be damaged by high current.
Widely used in irons, hair dryers, sealers, among others.
