The H L293D bridge is an integrated circuit that is internally formed by four channels integrated high voltage and high current designed to accept standard DTL or TTL logic levels and drive inductive loads such as relays, solenoids, direct current motors, step motors and switching power transistors.

This integrated circuit is regularly used to control direct current motors.

According to the execution logic for a DC motor, you can manipulate the rotation depending on the voltage applied to the terminals. For example, to activate the motor one, E1 must be activated and the voltage levels must be entered at the control terminals to handle the direction of rotation. To achieve this controlled polarity change, we rely on an integrated circuit known as H-bridge (it is a circuit arrangement of transistors and diodes that allows us to control the polarity of two output terminals based on logical inputs), as a particular case the L293D bridge integrated circuit.
