Description
The LM7815 voltage regulator is regulator that provides a positive voltage of 15 V as output, with internal current limitation, thermal shutdown and safe protection of the operating area. If a suitable heat sink is provided, they can deliver more than 1A of output current. The LM7815 is useful to have a constant output of +15V for sensor and/or microcontroller feeding, such as adjustable output regulator, current limiter, dual regulated supply or output polarity reversing protection circuit.
