Description
The LM7908 voltage regulator is regulator that provides a negative voltage of 8 V as output, counting with internal current limitation, thermal shutdown and safe protection of the operating area. If a suitable heat sink is provided, they can deliver more than 1A of output current. The LM7908 is useful for having a constant output of -8V for the power supply of sensors and/or microcontrollers, such as adjustable output regulator, current limiter, dual regulated supply or output polarity reversing protection circuit.
