Description
The LM7909 voltage regulator is regulator that provides a negative voltage of 9 V as output, with internal current limitation, thermal shutdown and safe protection of the operating area. If a suitable heat sink is provided, they can deliver more than 1A of output current. The LM7909 is useful for having a constant output of -9V for sensor and/or microcontroller power supply, such as adjustable output regulator, current limiter, dual regulated supply or output polarity reversing protection circuit.
