Description
Heart Rate Sensor - Heart Rate XD-58C Heart Rate Sensor Plug and Play for Arduino is widely used by students, artists, athletes, manufacturers and developers of games and mobile devices who want to easily incorporate live heart rate data into their projects and/or prototypes.
This module essentially combines a simple optical heart rate sensor with noise cancellation and amplification circuits that make it efficient and easy to get reliable pulse readings.
This sensor operates with a 5V voltage and only consumes 4mA, making it ideal for mobile applications.
These sensors have an analog output that can be connected, for example, to an analog input of an Arduino or PIC microcontroller, to test the heart rate
If you want to attach this sensor to your Raspberry Pi, you must use a digital converter (ADC)
