It has power pins to implement sensors, servomotors, I2C, UART, Bluetooth, LCD and various modules without the need for cables, it only connects to the desired pin which has its VCC and GND, without requiring a protoboard.

The Shield sensor has 3-pin connectors: power, ground and signal. There are connectors for analog inputs and connectors for digital I/O.
