Description
The DS1307 real-time serial clock is a low-powered, decimal-programmed binary clock/calendar. The addresses and data are transmitted through an I2C bidirectional bus. The clock/calendar has capabilities of seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month and year. The end of each month is automatically adjusted for shorter months than 31 days, including corrections for leap years.
The clock/calendar also has an electrical sensing circuit that detects faults in the power supply, changing to a backup source.
