Horseshoe Speed Optical Encoder Sensor FC-03 (rpm Pulse Counter)
Description
Horseshoe type F249 KLH-512 speed sensor, contains an infrared horseshoe sensor, which has an emitter LED and another receiver on each side of the sensor, when the light beam is interrupted, the logic output voltage changes to logic zero (LOW), and when the beam passes normally, the module outputs a logical (high) output.
If we attach a slotted disc to the motor and it is connected to the sensor, it will produce a square signal that varies in frequency depending on the speed of rotation of the disc, this allows to indirectly know the speed of a motor.
Fully compatible with PIC microcontrollers, Arduino, among others.
